About Union Skills Corp
A contractor that treats your home like it's still standing in twenty years

Union Skills Corp has spent 16 years renovating homes across Long Island. In that time we've learned that homeowners rarely get burned by a bad tile choice — they get burned by a contractor who disappears, a scope that quietly grows, or work that looks fine until the second winter.
So we built the company around fixing those three things. The crew that walks your home and prices the job is the crew that shows up to build it. The estimate is written, itemised, and free. And the parts nobody sees — the waterproofing, the substrate, the framing — get the same attention as the parts you'll photograph.
We work in English and Spanish, we work across Nassau and Suffolk, and we'd rather talk you out of a project than sell you one that won't hold up.
What we stand on
Four things we don't compromise on
Precision
Level, plumb and square are not suggestions. We measure twice because the finish exposes every shortcut taken underneath it.
Straight answers
If something will cost more, take longer, or isn't a good idea, you hear it from us early — not after the money is spent.
Work that lasts
We build to the standard we'd want in our own homes, because the real test of a renovation is how it looks in year ten.
Respect for your home
You still live here while we work. Dust barriers go up, floors get covered, and the site gets cleaned at the end of every day.

How we work
One crew, one point of contact, one number
You will not be handed off between salespeople and subcontractors. The person who quotes your project stays with it until you sign off on the punch list.
- Free, written, itemised estimates
- Changes discussed before they happen
- Daily cleanup and dust protection
- Final walkthrough before we call it done
